You know your career in full: every decision, every turning point, why each mattered. An application asks you to compress that into a few pages, balance the big picture against the specific proof points and then step back and judge whether the application clearly communicates the full strength of your candidacy. Jeffrey rebuilds the CV directly with you, identifying the achievements that carry weight with an admissions committee, shifting emphasis where needed and reorganizing the record so that what matters most is visible immediately.

The essays provide the opportunity to make the written case for your candidacy, directly to the admissions committee, in your own words. A well-written essay can still answer the wrong question. It responds to what the prompt appears to ask on the surface, while missing what the prompt is actually testing. After a thorough read of all essay drafts within a single application, Jeffrey confirms whether you are answering what each prompt is actually testing, whether each claim carries real weight and whether any content unnecessarily repeats what the committee already knows from other parts of your application.

By the time you are interviewed, the committee has already read your full application. The purpose of the interview is to test whether you can defend your candidacy under scrutiny, in greater depth than the application itself allowed, not simply to hear your career described again. A near-final application can look complete and still leave real strengths underdeveloped or real risks unaddressed. A rejection is rarely accompanied by a direct explanation from the admissions committee.
